Based in Blue Mountain, Ontario, Canada, Karen Young brings over 35 years of experience in dentistry. Karen brought unwavering passion and exceptional skill to private practice, and although now retired from clinical care, continues to give back to the profession by sharing her extensive expertise.
A recognized authority in case presentation and lifelong learner, she collaborated with implant specialists for more than 25 years and has been an ADIA (Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries) member since 2001, an ADIA Fellow since 2004; in 2024, she was appointed the new ADIA Director and awarded ADIA Master’s status, a testament to her leadership and enduring commitment to the field.
She also served as Director of a dental hygiene college in Toronto, ON, where she taught and mentored the next generation of dental hygienists.
A Certified Educator and KOL Speaker for Nobel, she delivers lectures across North America and founded TEAM Dental Training (Together Everyone Achieves More), through which she continues to train and support dental professionals, drawing on the considerable knowledge she has amassed over her career.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Karen enjoys life’s simple pleasures. In her spare time, she loves hiking, skiing, traveling, and spending quality moments with her family and cherished grandchildren. Her winters are spent in beautiful Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where she hikes through the jungles and explores every mile of the city with friends she has made over the years.
