An approachable “people person”, Karen keeps it authentic and honest
while empowering patients to make decisions best suited for them.

 

Patient care coordinator Ms. Karen Young brings her passion for dentistry to the forefront while guiding patients through their treatment continuum. Karen’s ability to illuminate the patient’s plan of care in simple, understandable language is second to none. With over 30 years of experience specializing in case presentations, she is recognized as a passionate presenter while remaining committed to learning and continuous improvement in the constantly changing dental industry.

Karen has been a member in good standing with the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries’ (A.D.I.A.) since 2001 and has held an A.D.I.A. Fellowship since 2004. The A.D.I.A. is the auxiliary component of the International Congress of Oral Implantology (I.C.O.I.), one of the largest dental implant organizations in the world.

As a Certified Educator with the A.D.I.A., Karen has lectured across North America and sits on the board of directors with the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries. Karen obtained a Teaching Certificate through Humber College in 2009.

Not All Work and No Play

In her spare time, Karen enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, skiing in the winter, biking in the summer, and spending time with her family in their home in the beautiful town of Blue Mountain, Ontario, Canada
